The Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, publishes official gazette notifications confirming the annual holiday schedule. Islamic holiday dates are subject to confirmation by the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee based on moon sightings. Provincial governments can declare additional regional holidays.
